After graduating from St. Louis University School of Law, I was admitted to the Missouri and Illinois bars in 1990. I have been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri, the Southern District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, the Seventh Circuit, and the Second Circuit.
Since 1990, I have worked primarily as a civil litigator. I've represented both defendants and plaintiffs in a wide variety of actions throughout the country. In addition to mass torts and class action litigation, my areas of practice include complex commercial and tort litigation and general civil litigation.
I'm the author of the legal textbook Deposition Checklists & Strategies (James Publishing 2006, updated every two years).
